INTER COLLEGIATE SEMINAR ON WOMEN'S RIGHTS : PAST AND PRESENT

The Department of History organised a one day Inter Collegiate seminar on "Women's Rights : Past and Present" on 20th December, 2017. Nearly 17 colleges participated and it was a grand success. Report The Department of History organized a one day seminar on 20 th December, 2017 . The theme of the topic was “Women’s Rights: Past and Present”. Nearly 13 colleges were participated. The seminar was presided over by our Secretary Rv.Sr.Fransisca Flora and Principal Sr.Dr.Celine Sahaya Mary. The Head of the Department Dr.J.Saral Evangeline welcomed the gathering. The inaugural address was given by Principal Sr. Dr.Celine Sahaya Mary and Secretary Rev.Sr.Fransisca Flora felicitated the gathering. Dr.V.Venkatraman, Principal Rajapalayam Rajus College, Rajapalayam was the chief guest for the seminar. He delivered a key note address on the topic “Women in Freedom Struggle ”. Medical camp - Extension Programme

As a part of the Extension Programme the department of History along with the Aroma clinic had conducted a medical camp at Sambakulam on 27.08.2017. The students of III UG History along with Dr. B. Bala Parameswari and Dr. G. Vennila conducted the camp. Students actively participated in the camp.
