Competitive Exams Guidance Class

We conduct Competitive exams guidance classes  twice in a semester. For this academic year, the first class class was held on 18th July 2017. Interested students from UG and PG  History participated in it. Nearly 92 students participated and gained knowledge about the different exams of Tamilnadu Public Service Commission.

Field Trip

The final year students of the Department of History , III UG  & II PG went for an  excursion on  7.9.2017 & 8.9.2017 to Courtallam, & Thenmala. They were escorted by Dr. B.Bala Parameswari and Dr.M.Nageswari. They were safely returne d back. Students enjoyed a lot.

INTER COLLEGIATE SEMINAR ON WOMEN'S RIGHTS : PAST AND PRESENT

The Department of History organised a one day Inter Collegiate seminar on "Women's Rights : Past and Present" on 20th December, 2017. Nearly 17 colleges participated and it was a grand success.  Report The Department of History organized a one day seminar on 20 th December, 2017 . The theme of the topic was “Women’s Rights: Past and Present”. Nearly 13 colleges were participated.  The seminar was presided over by our Secretary Rv.Sr.Fransisca Flora and Principal Sr.Dr.Celine Sahaya Mary. The Head of the Department Dr.J.Saral Evangeline welcomed the gathering. The inaugural address was given by Principal Sr. Dr.Celine Sahaya Mary and Secretary Rev.Sr.Fransisca Flora felicitated the gathering. Dr.V.Venkatraman, Principal Rajapalayam Rajus College, Rajapalayam was the chief guest for the seminar. He delivered a key note address on the topic “Women in Freedom Struggle ”.
